I went down in weight today because my back is still playing up and I found out yesterday that I've torn the dorsal radial ligament from the trapezoid bone in my hand. Not 100% sure what that all means, so i'll have to wait until I see the surgeon. Just in case anyone is wondering, no it's not a training injury. It's a policing injury.
Very impressed to see Helen go up in weight already. Most women will start with an 8kg KB and use that for at least 6 weeks before progressing to a 12. Only strong girls will jump up to a 12 that quickly. It was great that she just got stuck in, challenged herself and had a red hot go. She managed really well too and got through the entire 5 rounds using the 12. Great stuff!!
