I actually hate this workout. It's long and tough and the longer it goes the tougher it gets. But, you have to do the ones you hate just as much as the ones you love!

Really great effort by Helen today. She hasn't done much strength work for a looong time and she took to the heavy barbell stuff like a duck to water, registering PB's on all 3 lifts! Huge stuff!!

I was pretty happy with my efforts. Got a 3RM PB in the Push Press by 1.5kgs and a 5rm in the Push Jerk by 1kg. Not huge increases, but at least they're increases. I've really struggled with this workout in the past and to register a couple of PB's is pretty pleasing. My PB on the Military Press is 71kg's. I did that at a body weight of 90kg's and at the end of a 6-week strength cycle. So to almost beat that today, when I'm now at a body weight of 85kgs, and not doing any specific strength work, is something to be happy with. Almost got the 70kgs too. Had it at the sticking point just above my head for an eternity. Just couldn't lock it out! Will have another crack at the CrossFit Total Comp next weekend.

I might actually remember to get the camera out of my bag tomorrow and get some pic's up on the blog.
